RIO GRANDE, Ohio -- WVU Tech men's soccer dropped their first River States Conference (RSC) game of the season after falling at No. 5 University of Rio Grande 4-0 Saturday evening. The Golden Bears are now 4-7-2, 3-1-1 (RSC) in 2017 while the RedStorm hold a record of 10-1-1, 4-0-1 (RSC).

The RedStorm's goals, all in the first half, were scored by Ben Mendoza, Harry Reilly, Spencer Reinford and Omar Walcott.
Freshman keeper
Jose Domingo Xam-mar (4-3) made nine stops after a complete game while Rio's Luis Rodriguez was forced to stop three Golden Bear attempts.
The Gold and Blue will next face Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for more conference action Friday, October 20.
