BECKLEY, West Virginia -- WVU Tech dropped a 3-0 decision to Indiana University Kokomo in River States Conference (RSC) action Friday evening. After scores of 25-15, 25-16 and 25-9 the Golden Bears move to 21-10, 4-7 (RSC) while the Cougars boost their record to 21-8, 9-0 (RSC).
Freshman
Lauren McCall led the attack for Tech with seven kills while sophomores
Konstantina Pateli marked five and
Katelyn Byrd had four. McCall also put down two block solos.
Sophomore
Alice Amitrano led they way in the back row, picking up nine digs to go with two assists. Freshman
Sawyer Hawgood recorded eight digs and Pateli had six.
Pateli posted a team-high 17 assists and had a block solo.
The team will host another RSC contest tomorrow, Saturday when they play Cincinnati Christian University at noon in Van Meter Gym.
