BECKLEY, West Virginia -- Senior
Francisco Neto tallied WVU Tech men's soccer's first three goals for a flawless hat trick in the 6-0 River States Conference (RSC) victory over Ohio Christian University Saturday evening. The Golden Bears are now 3-0-1 in conference play and 4-6-2 overall while the Trailblazers hold a record of 2-9, 1-2 (RSC).
Neto was able to find the back of the net off the assist of sophomore
Jesus Naves in the ninth minute to start things off for the Gold and Blue.
The Rio De Janeiro, Brazil native sailed a penalty kick past Ohio Christian's keeper Roberto Varela for his second score and connected with sophomore
Eduardo Gutierrez for his third and final goal of the game.
Off the assist from freshman
Carlos Quiros Perulero, fellow classmate
Manuel Segarra produced his second collegiate goal. Sophomore
Manuel Garcia scored his first career goal, unassisted, in the 73
rd minute.
The final Tech goal came from freshman
Renan Gouvia, who also posted his first career goal, and the assist of freshman
Fernando Sendra. The assist is Sendra's first collegiate.

Jose Domingo Xam-mar is now 4-2 protecting the goal this season including two shut outs. Xam-mar finished the game with two stops after 45 minutes of play.
The team combined for 19 shots on frame compared to the Trailblazers' two. Tech also held the advantage in corner kicks, 8-0.
