LAST SERIES
- WVU Tech baseball swept the River States Conference (RSC) series, 4-0, at Brescia University Saturday and Sunday.
- The Golden Bears (15-11, 9-3 RSC) defeated the Bearcats (2-14, 0-9 RSC) with scores of 3-1, 3-2, 4-0 and 9-4.
- The winning pitchers that were credited include junior Jerod Jobst (game one) and seniors Marcus Rodriguez (game two), Jarron Monroe (game three) and Chris Davidson (game four).
- Redshirt-junior Garrison Vandeventer also marked his fifth save of the season in the 3-2 victory of game two.
- At the plate, the series was led by seniors Brady Groesbeck and Tanner Levine.
- The two finished with six hits and a series batting average of .462.
- Groesbeck scored three runs and marked four RBI while Levine recorded three runs scored, a double and two RBI.

LAST GAME
- Finished a 12-game road trip to Florida with a big NAIA win over last season's national champions and No. 2 Saint Xavier University, 3-0.
- Senior Genna Trippett knocked her third home run in as many games to help propel Tech past Saint Xavier with two runs scored from the long ball.
- Freshman Karina Atanacio , who has earned all of Tech's wins in the circle this season, pitched a complete shutout game against the Cougars including two K's and 14 first pitch strikes.
- Atanacio only threw 85 pitches and had no walks in the victory.
- Trippett's home run also drove in Connelly who had reached base by a single.
- The third run came in the top of the seventh when a balk from Saint Xavier's pitcher scored freshman Chelsey Adkins who reached on a single up the middle.
- The team totaled six hits including two from junior Kayla Harbin.

LAST MEET
- Competed as individuals during the W&L Carnival hosted by Washington and Lee University Friday and Saturday.
- Sophomore Daniel Lynch had a standout showing for the men, finishing first in the shot put while freshman Hailey Couchman led the women's squad by long jumping to a third place finish.
- The men participated in 14 events throughout the competition and finished with four top-ten finishes including the 14.41 meter shot put effort from Lynch.
- Sophomore Seth Greensage was fifth in the hammer throw with a 41.69 meter throw.
- Fellow classmate Jesse Griesheimer ran to a time of 33:26.11, crossing the finish line seventh out of 16 athletes after 10,000 meters.
- The 4x400 meter relay team of sophomores Raquez Lockhart and Sasha Fleurinor and freshmen Peter Telesco and Robert Jones earned a fifth place finish after ending with a time of 3:28.42.
- The women competed in 12 events at the W&L Carnival and garnered three top-ten finishes including the 4.72 long jump from Couchman.
- Junior Nikki Aleshire crossed fourth in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 39:51.80.
- Fellow classmate Kylie Lang was ninth in the 3,000 meter steeple chase after a time of 13:44.58.

LAST TOURNAMENT
- Kicked off their spring season by taking first in the Shawnee State Early Bird Shootout after earning a team score of 314.
- The Golden Bears won in a field of five teams at the Elk's Country Club (Par 72 | 6,701 Yards).
- Tech tied with host school Shawnee State University but the tie-breaker gave the Gold and Blue the edge for champions off the score of sophomore Braden Keown who shot a tournament-best 73 (+1).
- Freshman Andres Echeveste and sophomore Drew Hiskins were second best for the Golden Bears, both shooting an 80 (+8).
- Freshman Jayden Dignan and sophomore Makenzie Gaskin rounded out Tech's first place team, both carding an 81 (+9) for eighth place overall individually.
- Shawnee State's 'B' team finished third (341), WVU Tech's 'B' team was fourth (346) and Kentucky Christian University golfed to a fifth place finish (350).
- Tech's 'B' team was made up of sophomores Callum Langford (85) and Jesse-Frank Evans (90) and freshmen Kieren Samarakoon (85) and Brandon Keaton (86).
