EAST BANK, West Virginia -- The WVU Tech baseball team earned a doubleheader sweep against Bluefield State College in non-conference play Sunday. The Golden Bears finish their regular season with an overall record of 28-26 after taking the games with scores of 14-3 and 10-0.
After this weekend, the regular conference season is over and the Gold and Blue (18-12) are No. 5 in the RSC standings at seven games back. Point Park University (26-6) is in the top spot and Midway University (20-12) is No. 4 at six games back.

Senior
Tanner Levine finished 4-for-5 at the plate with a triple, four RBI, four runs scored and two stolen bases for Tech.
The remaining Golden Bears that added to the 16 total team hits had two knocks a piece including doubles from seniors
Brady Groesbeck (2) and
Chris Davidson, junior
Abraham Alejandro and freshman
Jacob Reimold.
Reimold recorded three RBI and a run scored while Davidson drove in two runs and crossed the plate twice himself.
Senior
Jayson Sykora (2-5) put in 4.2 innings of work for the win, scattering eight hits and three earned runs while striking out three batters.
Junior
Dalton Grisell threw for 2.1 innings, giving up two hits and retiring two Blues via strikes.

Senior
Marcus Rodriguez went a perfect 3-for-3 at the dish, recording a double, sacrifice hit, a run scored, a RBI and stolen base to help lead Tech in the shutout.
Levine hit another triple towards his two RBI and two runs scored. The Long Beach, California native is currently ranked No. 8 in the nation (NAIA DI) with 81 total hits.
Groesbeck, his third of the day, and junior
Wyatt Belinda both had a double in the final game Sunday.
Freshman
Michael Rotenberry (3-1) won on the bump after four innings. Rotenberry struck out three batters while giving up just one hit and walking zero batters.
