BECKLEY, West Virginia -- The WVU Tech men's soccer team fell to (RV) Cumberland University, 1-0. The Golden Bears hold a record of 0-5-1 after the game Saturday afternoon at the YMCA Paul Cline Memorial Youth Sports Complex while the Phoenix boost their record to 5-1.
Cumberland held the advantage with 13 shots (five on goal) compared to Tech's zero shots during the 90 minutes. The Phoenix also had five corner kick opportunities compared to the Gold and Blue's two.

Xam-mar (0-1) stopped four balls while allowing just one goal after a complete game.
The Golden Bears will next face Mount Vernon Nazarene University in Ohio on Wednesday, September 20.
