- Dropped a 3-1 decision to River States Conference (RSC) foe Point Park University Saturday afternoon in Beckley.
- The Golden Bears now hold a record of 20-6, 4-3 (RSC) while the Pioneers improve to 12-6, 5-1 (RSC).
- Tech took the first set 25-21 before falling 19-25, 20-25 and 21-25.
- Junior Katelyn Byrd led Tech's attack with 13 kills while senior Ana Monteiro and freshman Valentina Abondano had 11 each.
- Junior Konstantina Pateli tallied 42 assists to go with ten digs.
- Fellow junior Alice Amitrano led the defense with 14 digs while sophomore libero Sawyer Hawgood picked up 12 digs.

LAST GAME
- Sophomore Domenica Moncayo recorded a hat trick in the first half of the 4-0 River States Conference (RSC) victory over Cincinnati Christian University.
- The Golden Bears now hold a record of 6-4, 3-2 (RSC) while the Eagles move to 1-11, 1-4 (RSC).
- Moncayo first struck in the seventh minute, finding the back of the net off an assist from fellow classmate Meghan Rugel.
- Junior Miriam Cortez was credited the assist when Moncayo marked her second goal in the 13th minute.
- The Cumbaya, Quito, Ecuador native posted her final goal of the evening off a free kick in minute 30.
- Tech's final goal of the contest was provided by junior Maria Gonzalez who scored in minute 35 off the perfect pass from Moncayo.
- Freshman Jenna Miller protected the goal for the complete game, making two stops and allowing zero goals for another shut out.

- Defeated River States Conference (RSC) opponent Cincinnati Christian University 3-0 with another shut out victory in 2018.
- The Golden Bears now hold a record of 10-0-4, 4-0-1 (RSC) while the Eagles move to 4-5, 1-4 (RSC).
- Freshmen posted all three goals during the contest including two from Jaime Rodriguez (36' and 39').
- Rodriguez's first score came off a penalty kick while the assist for his second goal was credited to junior Narhum Nivillac.
- Fellow freshman Ben Mawby recorded his first collegiate goal in the 24th minute off the assist from Rodriguez.
- The team finished with 20 shots, nine on frame while holding the Eagles to just six shots, three on goal.
- Tech's net was protected by starter junior Jose Domingo Xam-mar who made one stop in 24 minutes of play.
- Junior Jorge Martinez finished the contest out, marking two saves.
