PIKEVILLE, Kentucky — No. 13 WVU Tech improved to 2-0 with a 116-83 win over Kentucky Christian University on Saturday to finish out the Appalachian Wireless Classic.
The Golden Bears shot 50 percent from beyond the arc, nailing 17 three pointers, led by freshman Isaiah Morgan who notched a game-high five.
All-American Elisha Boone led the Golden bears in scoring, recording 17 points in just under 20 minutes of action.
Junior Arrey, Morgan, Boone, Thomas Collins, Brent Daniels, Brandon Shingles and Dominik King all scored in double figures for WVU Tech.
The Golden Bears will return to action Friday when they host Penn State-Fayette in the WVU Tech Classic at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center at 7 p.m.
