BECKLEY, West Virginia -- The men's basketball squad of WVU Tech earned its eighth consecutive victory Tuesday evening, 120-77, against River States Conference (RSC) opponent Carlow University. The Golden Bears boost their record to 11-1, 3-0 (RSC) while the Celtics move to 1-14, 0-2 (RSC).
The team had another balanced attack as six Golden Bears hit double-digits, led by sophomore
Andreas Jönsson who poured in 15 points.
Senior
Elisha Boone finished with 14 points while senior
Brandon Shingles and freshman
Isaiah Morgan had 12 points each, junior
Brent Daniels recorded 11 points and sophomore
Junior Arrey posted ten points.
Under the boards, Tech pulled down 53 total compared to Carlow's 36. The Gold and Blue were led by Arrey and freshman
Corey Hatfield who marked six rebounds each.

Dominik King had five boards a piece.
Tech finished 44-for-85 (51.8 percent) from the field while the Celtics went 29-for-69 (42.0 percent).
The Golden Bears forced 28 turnovers and grabbed 15 steals in the win.
WVU Tech will next travel to Washington Adventist University on Thursday for a non-conference match-up.
