LAKELAND, Florida -- WVU Tech softball is now enjoying a four-game winning streak after defeating Silver Lake College in a doubleheader (22-0, 20-6) before earning victories over Indiana University of South Bend (7-3) and Indiana University of Pennsylvania (3-0) during the PFX Game held in Florida March 11-15.
The 22 runs scored against Silver Lake are the most the Golden Bears have tallied in a single game since at least 2007.

Tech finished 25-for-39 at the plate as a team including five hits from senior
MaKayla Waugh and four from freshman

Of Tech's 19 hits, Blandford led the way with four while Lopez and Lamana had three each.
Olson posted four RBI while Daniels, Lamana and sophomore
Sarah Dohn marked three each.
Morey, Daniels, Blandford and Lamana all laid down a double.
Olson was awarded the win as the Golden Bear pitcher, recording three strike outs.

The Gold and Blue rallied in the seventh inning for four runs to earn the victory, 7-3. Tech recorded six hits including a perfect 2-for-2 effort from freshman
Alix Lamana.
The remaining hits were credited to freshman

Kayla Harbin. Connelly's knock was a double that crossed two runs while Lopez and Harbin recorded a RBI each.
Sophomore
Amanda McDonald (1-7) earned the W in the circle after five innings of work. McDonald recorded two strike outs while giving up three hits and zero earned runs.
Fellow classmate
Karina Atanacio drew the start, pitching for two innings towards three strike outs and three earned runs.

Waugh, who marked two hits, posted a double and a RBI. Lopez also finished with two hits towards a run scored.
Lopez, Connelly and Morey stole a base each.
McDonald earned another win after throwing a complete game towards seven strike outs and zero earned runs.
Tech will begin River States Conference (RSC) play next when they travel to Brescia University for a doubleheader March 23.
