- WVU Tech softball fell to Mars Hill College 3-2 before dropping a contest to Montreat College 6-5 Sunday afternoon.
- The Golden Bears now hold a record of 1-9 this season.
LAST GAME
- The WVU Tech men's basketball team, who is currently No. 25 in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, fell to No. T13 Indiana University Southeast in a River States Conference (RSC) Tournament semifinal 95-82.
- The Golden Bears entered the tournament as the No. 2 RSC East seed and now have an overall record of 20-11 and the No. 1 RSC West Grenadiers are 23-8.

LAST MEET
- Leading the way for the men was junior Seth Greensage who PR'ed in the hammer throw, winning with a toss of 45.72 meters while also claiming fourth in the discus throw, 40.77 meters.
- Out on the oval, freshman Jared Hamm captured fourth in the 400 meter dash (53.95) shortly after earning ninth in the 800 meter dash.
- Sophomore Kerry Smith placed seventh in the 110 hurdles with a time of 17.80 while junior Zuberi Idy leaped towards a fourth place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 11.37 meters and seventh in the long jump at 5.83 meters.
- For the women, freshman Jaelynn Parks ran a massive PR in the 5,000 meter run of 20:42.64 making her the third collegian to cross the line.
- Freshman Journee Wheeler captured fourth in the 200 meter dash (28.29) while freshman Kaeley Boyd took seventh in the 800 meter dash (2:38.55).
- In the field, sophomore Jamie Fauver placed sixth in the hammer throw with a toss of 29.16 meters.
