LAST GAME
  • Opened its 2018 campaign with a 1-0 shutout victory over NCAA DII opponent Glenville State College.
  • The Golden Bears recorded 23 shots on goal while holding the Pioneers to four shots on goal.
  • Tech and Glenville were held scoreless until the 48th minute when junior Miriam Cortez recorded the first Gold and Blue goal of the season.
  • Fellow classmate Maria Gonzalez was credited with the assist.
  • Sophomore Patricia Fisher posted a game-high seven shots while Gonzalez, senior Lorena Moyers, sophomore Meghan Goldman and freshman Emily Harrah marked four each.
  • Freshman keeper Jenna Miller (1-0) protected the goal a full 90 minutes for the W, stopping four Pioneer attempts on frame.
