RICHMOND, Indiana -- The Golden Bear volleyball team dropped a 3-0 River States Conference (RSC) match at Indiana University East Friday evening. WVU Tech moves to 18-5, 2-2 (RSC) while the Red Wolves now hold a record of 14-4, 4-0 (RSC).
Senior
Ana Monteiro led the attack for Tech with ten kills while also marking eight digs.
Junior
Carolina Bologna had five kills while fellow classmate
Emily Kidd put down four kills. Kidd also recorded four block assists and a block solo while Bologna had one of each.
Junior
Konstantina Pateli, who had a match-high 24 assists, produced five digs, three block assists and two kills.
Sophomore libero
Sawyer Hawgood led the way again in the back row with 18 digs. Freshman
Valentina Abondano picked up six digs to go with three kills.
Tech will next travel to Ohio Christian University for more conference play tomorrow, Saturday.
