CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio -- (RV) WVU Tech men's soccer boost its record to 9-0-1, 3-0 (RSC) after a 5-0 shutout at River States Conference (RSC) opponent Ohio Christian University Saturday afternoon. The Trailblazers now hold a record of 2-9, 0-4 (RSC).
Senior
Sergio Sanchez led the offense, posting two goals and an assist in the victory. Sanchez assisted fellow classmate
Jesus Naves in minute 32 before finding the back of the net himself in minutes 36 and 47.

Allan Costa.
Sophomore
Antonio Fernández Castaño recorded two goals to finish out the scoring for the Gold and Blue. The Sevilla, Spain native's goal in minute 64 was assisted by junior
Cristian Cubedo Aymerich and the final score was unassisted in minute 71.
Senior
Jorge Martinez (9-0-1) protected the Golden Bears' net again, making two stops and allowing zero goals in 90 minutes. Ohio Christian's keeper, Trey Current, was forced to stop eight Golden Bear attempts while allowing five goals.
The team will return to action Thursday, October 10 when they travel to Brescia University for more conference play.
