MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- WVU Tech is the No. 1 seed in the upcoming 2019 River States Conference Men's Soccer Championship. The Golden Bears, unbeaten at 16-0-1 and ranked No. 10 in the NAIA, lead the playoff field of six teams. The RSC Championship gets underway Saturday, November 9 with the quarterfinals, continues on Wednesday, November 13 for the semifinals and on Saturday, November 16 for the finals. 

WVU Tech took the top postseason spot with a perfect record of 9-0 RSC. The Golden Bears amassed the maximum of 27 points and will receive a bye in the semifinals. WVU Tech will host a semifinal game November 13 at 7 p.m. ET.

University of Rio Grande (Ohio), ranked No. 11 in the country, is the No. 2 seed in the RSC Championship. The RedStorm is 14-3 overall, 8-1 RSC with the only loss to WVU Tech in overtime. Rio Grande also gets a bye and will host the other semifinal game on November 13 at 5 p.m. ET

IU East claimed the No. 3 seed with a campaign of 12-6 overall, 6-3 RSC. The Red Wolves host No. 6 seed Ohio Christian (4-13, 2-7 RSC) in the quarterfinal round on November 13 at 3:30 p.m. ET. The winner will advance to play at No. 2 Rio Grande.

Brescia (Ky.) University earned the No. 4 seed and the right to host the other quarterfinal matchup. The Bearcats (6-10, 5-4 RSC) welcome No. 5 Asbury (Ky.) (6-12, 3-6 RSC) on November 13 at 8 p.m. ET. The winner moves on to play at No. 1 WVU Tech.

The RSC Championship winner will earn the conference's automatic qualification to the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship Opening Round, which begins November 22-23 at campus sites around the country.
