VIENNA, West Virginia -- No. 6 WVU Tech softball dropped a 5-2 decision to No. 6 Point Park University in a quarterfinal game of the double-elimination River States Conference Championship Friday morning.
The game began on Thursday and was forced to be postponed due to rain after four innings, the Golden Bears trailed 5-0 at the time. The game resumed Friday morning where Tech was able to pick up two runs in the sixth inning.

Kennedy Batchelor and Connelly also recorded a hit each for the Gold and Blue.
Junior
Karina Atanacio drew the start and pitched a complete game towards one strike out and one earned run.
Tech will continue play today, Friday when they face the loser of No. 1 Rio Grande vs. No. 5 Carlow University at approximately 1 p.m. in Vienna.
