WILLIAMSBURG, Kentucky -- Two teams who received votes in the most recent NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll met Saturday afternoon in Williamsburg and WVU Tech men's soccer defeated University of the Cumberlands, 3-2. The Golden Bears stay perfect with a record of 4-0 while the Patriots move to 4-2 in 2019.
Tech struck first and fast when senior

The Patriots picked up the lead though, posting a quick score of their own from Milan Stojanovic (7') followed by their final of the game from Liam Healey (28').
WVU Tech's equalizer actually came from a Cumberlands' own goal in minute 80, taking the score to 2-2.
Freshman
Luis Alejandro Jaimes blasted the game-winner for the Gold and Blue when he knocked in his second collegiate goal in as many games with just seven minutes left in regulation.
Senior
Jorge Martinez (4-0) remains undefeated guarding the net for Tech, stopping two Patriots' attempts and allowing two goals after a complete game.
The Cumberlands keeper, Akililu Zambataro also played a complete game, marking two saves while allowing three goals in 90 minutes of play.
The team looks to keep this momentum when they head to Fort Wayne, Indiana Friday, September 20 to take on Indiana Tech.
