BECKLEY, West Virginia -- The Gold and Blue earned a 77-66 victory over Carolina University Saturday for their third consecutive win. WVU Tech now holds a record of 3-2 while the Bruins moves to 2-3.
Sophomore
Darrin Martin had a standout game again, producing a team-high 23 points to go with eight rebounds, six assists, a block and a steal.
Four other Golden Bears hit double-digits including 19 points from senior
Juvante' Hayes, 14 from fellow classmate Andreas Jönsson, 11 from sophomore
Andrew Work and ten points from sophomore
Ashton Parker.
Under the boards, Work and Parker had eight rebounds each.
The team forced 13 turnovers and grabbed seven steals while leading the way with rebounds, 35-25.
The team will return home when they host Salem University Tuesday, November 24.
