PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania -- WVU Tech men's basketball defeated Point Park University 82-60 before taking down Carlow University 82-55 to begin River States Conference (RSC) play this past week. The Golden Bears now boast a record of 5-2, 2-0 (RSC) this season.
Philip Mullins came off the bench to lead the way on assists with seven while producing ten points, three rebounds and two steals.
Also a reserve,
Thomas Hailey was on top under the boards, pulling down eight rebounds to go with nine points and three blocks.
Juvante' Hayes led the offense with 16 points while
Tamon Scruggs finished with ten points. Both Scruggs and
Andrew Work had five rebounds each while Work recorded nine points.
Ashton Parker had seven points and six rebounds while
Keondre' King and
Luke Vass poured in six points each.
Tech will continue conference play tomorrow, Tuesday when they travel to University of Rio Grande.
