BECKLEY, West Virginia -- WVU Tech had a victorious weekend of River States Conference (RSC) play, defeating Ohio Valley University Friday before earning a 3-0 win over Ohio Christian University Saturday. The Golden Bears are now 7-11 overall and hold a 3-2 RSC record.
Julia McClanahan finished with a match-high 40 assists to go with three digs and two service aces.
Emma Leach posted nine digs, two assists and two service aces.
Abigail Gregory totaled six digs and
Brooklyn Cook had four.
Ana Muñiz Rocandio led the attack with 12 kills while recording nine digs.Â
Ariana Gentzler put down nine kills while Cook had eight,
Coralys Maldonado Rivera had seven and Alicia Cervera Sosperda produced four kills.
The Gold and Blue will be on the road for the next two weeks starting with a Tuesday match-up at University of Rio Grande.
