KOKOMO, Indiana -- WVU Tech women's and men's cross country both finished eighth during the River States Conference (RSC) Championships in Kokomo Saturday morning. The men competed in the 8k among a field of 88 runners while the women ran a 5k in a field of 77 athletes.
Nathan Morton led the men's squad with a 28:50.9 (30th) showing for the Gold and Blue.
Next was Christian Saffouri who crossed with a time of 31:19.20 (65th).Â
Rounding out the Golden Bears was Jacob Showalter at 36:29.20 (84th),
Samuel Whitcomb at 37:02.80 (86th) and Kaleb Cole at 40:41.20 (88th).
The women were led by
Carmen Camino Falcon who recorded a time of 21:09.4 (22nd).
Madelyn Grimmett finished next for Tech with a time of 22:38.60 (38th).
The Gold and Blue also saw action from
Jessica York at 23:47.40 (54th),
McKayla Bartley at 27:46.90 (72nd) and Taylor Sexton at 30:16.20 (75th).
