RICHMOND, Indiana -- (RV) WVU Tech men's basketball has three consecutive River States Conference (RSC) victories after holding on for an 87-84 victory at Indiana University East Saturday. The Golden Bears boast a record of 20-4, 11-2 (RSC) while the Red Wolves move to 12-13, 7-6 (RSC).
Andrew Work helped lead Tech on offense with 19 points, including a perfect 4-for-4 effort from the foul line, to go with six rebounds, two steals and an assist.Â
Andreas Jönsson hit four from three point range towards 16 points and five rebounds.
Thomas Hailey also poured in 16 points while pulling down a team-high eight boards.
Gunner Short finished with nine points and seven rebounds while
Keondre' King hit three from beyond the arc towards nine points and three boards.
Juvante' Hayes and
Philip Mullins both came off the bench to produce seven points each.
The Gold and Blue return home Tuesday (February 8) when they host Point Park University in more conference competition.
