RIO GRANDE, Ohio -- The Golden Bears opened up the RedStorm Classic in Ohio with a 3-0 loss to (RV) University of the Cumberlands. WVU Tech moves to 2-1-1 while the Patriots hold a record of 1-2-1.

The Gold and Blue's shot on goal was recorded by freshman Enrique Ezuerro Lopez.

Freshman Luka Felix made six stops in goal after 90 minutes of play.

The goals for Cumberlands were posted by Rodrigo Riveros and Stephen Appiah (2).

Tech will return to the pitch Sunday to finish out the classic with a matchup against Cardinal Stritch University.
