RIO GRANDE, Ohio -- WVU Tech men's soccer defeated Cardinal Stritch University 1-0 in its final game of the RedStorm Classic Sunday, The Golden Bears are now 3-1-1 overall while the Wolves move to 2-3.
Both defenses held each other scoreless for the first 85 minutes of the match-up until junior

Lucas Rivera Paramio recorded six saves while allowing zero goals in 90 minutes of action. The Wolves' keeper, Alexandre Baranes, was forced to stop three Golden Bear attempts in the complete game.
As a team, Cardinal Stritch held the edge on shots on goal, 6-4 and corner kicks, 13-3.
The Gold and Blue will return home for the next game, hosting Shaw University at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 10.
