NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- WVU Tech volleyball earned its seventh consecutive victory after defeating Indiana University Southeast 3-1 (25-20, 19-25, 25-22, 30-28) in River States Conference (RSC) play Saturday afternoon. The Golden Bears now boast a record of 14-10, 10-2 (RSC) while the Grenadiers move to 12-10, 7-6 (RSC).
Senior
Madison Boswell (Ronceverte, W.Va.) recorded a career-high 23 kills to lead the attack during the match. Fellow senior
Ana Muniz Rocandio (Oviedo, Asturias, Spain) put down 13 kills while freshman
Marianna Oyola Rivera (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) finished with ten.
Libero junior
Brooke Presley (Shady Spring, W.Va) scooped up 25 digs while Muniz Rocandio had 20 for the Gold and Blue.
Senior
Julia McClanahan put out 26 assists to go with four digs and two service aces while Oyola Rivera had 24 assists, eight digs and two service aces.
The Golden Bears return home for the next three matches including Friday, October 20 when they host Indiana University East in Van Meter Gym at 7 p.m.
