BECKLEY, West Virginia -- WVU Tech softball split a River States Conference (RSC) doubleheader with Alice Lloyd College Saturday with scores of 3-4 and 11-3 (5 Innings). The Golden Bears will move into the River States Conference Championship with a record of 23-25 while the Trailblazers move to 11-29 overall.
Gabrielle Pyles helped lead at the plate for the Gold and Blue, finishing a perfect five-for-five towards three runs scored, a RBI and a double.
Macy Wilkens for 4-for-6 including a double, four RBI and two runs scored.
Kyleigh Jackson and
Hailea Skeens also had a multi-hit day, finishing with two each and a double each.

Nicole Kester,
Maggie Richards,
McKayla Bartley and
Scarlet Janney posted RBI.
Emma Crisswell threw to the win in the circle after 3.0 innings, striking out three and giving up three earned runs.
Courtney Miles finished out game two with 2.0 innings and five strikeouts.
Mackenzie Siersma drew the start in game one, striking out four and giving up three earned runs in 5.1 innings. Crisswell completed the game with three strikeouts in 1.2 innings.
