The WVU Tech men's soccer team has released its schedule for the upcoming fall season, which features 17 regular-season contests with 10 matches played at the YMCA Paul Cline Memorial Sports Complex in Paul Cline Stadium.
The 2023 slate includes home River States Conference (RSC) games against Midway University (Sept. 21), Indiana University Purdue University Columbus (Sept. 23), University of Rio Grande (Oct. 12), Point Park University (Oct. 21) and Ohio Christian University (Oct. 26).
Tech opens the regular season on Aug. 25 by welcoming Columbia International University to Beckley before traveling to Lawrenceville, Ga. to face Lawrence Technological University and Georgia Gwinnett College for the Labor Day Grizzly Classic Sept. 1 and 3.
The Golden Bears also face Milligan University (Sept. 7), Mount Vernon Nazarene University (Sept. 13) and Washington Adventist University (Sept. 27) in Paul Cline Stadium as the host school.
Prior to the start of the regular season, the Gold and Blue will host NCAA DII Concord University Aug. 12 for a scrimmage in Paul Cline Stadium before traveling to Carolina University for another friendly Aug. 18.
WVU Tech produced a 14-3-3 record (7-0-1 RSC) last season, advancing to the finals of the RSC Championship to become the 2022 runners-up.
