BECKLEY, W.Va. -- WVU Tech women's soccer earned a 4-0 shutout against Blue Mountain Christian University Wednesday at Paul Cline Stadium. The Golden Bears are now 1-5-1 while the Toppers move to 2-4-1.

The next goal was also unassisted, coming from sophomore Isabella Covarrubias (Mexico) just before halftime in the 44th minute.

Freshman Carson Barr (New Manchester, W.Va.) started the scoring in the last 45 minutes with a quick goal off an assist from Canut (50').

The final goal of the match-up was posted in minute 86 when freshman Maddie Lott (Fairmont, W.Va.) found the back of the net off the perfect pass from fellow classmate Emilia Botto (Lima, Peru).

Sophomore Sandra Garcia Quilez (Zaragoza, Spain) earned the W protecting the net, making six saves while allowing zero goals in 90 minutes.
