BECKLEY, W.Va. -- WVU Tech women's soccer and Midway University battled it out to kick off the River States Conference (RSC) schedule Thursday at Paul Cline Stadium. The Golden Bears fell 1-0 to the Eagles and now hold a record of 1-6-1, 0-1 (RSC) while Midway moves to 3-0, 1-0 (RSC).

The Eagles' goal was posted in the final minute of the game from Anna Kneisley who was assisted by Haylee Applegate.
