PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- WVU Tech men's basketball finished its regular season at River States Conference (RSC) opponent Point Park University Friday, falling 83-77. The Golden Bears will enter the RSC Championship with an overall record of 17-9 while the Pioneers move on at 26-2.
Senior
Ashton Parker (Rock Hill, S.C.) led all scorers with a career-high 39 points including four made from beyond the arc. Parker completed the double-double with ten rebounds to go with four assists and a steal.
Freshman
Braden Chapman (Beaver, W.Va.) added 19 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals. Fellow classmate and twin
Cole Chapman (Beaver, W.Va.) had six points, three rebounds, three steals and two assists.
Sophomore
Brant Smithers (Williamstown, Ky.) recorded five points and four rebounds while freshmen
Cameron Danser (Morgantown, W.Va.) and
Liam Craven (Brantford, Ontario, Canada) had four points each. Danser also had seven rebounds, an assist and a steal while Craven added a rebound.
