BECKLEY, W.Va. -- WVU Tech men's basketball dropped a tough River States Conference (RSC) contest to No. 22 Point Park University Saturday in the Beckey Raleigh County Convention Center. The Golden Bears now hold a record of 15-6, 8-4 while the Pioneers move to 21-2, 10-2.
Senior
Ashton Parker (Rock Hill, S.C.) finished with a double-double effort of 16 points and 10 rebounds to go with five assists.
Sophomore
Thomas Hailey (Monroe, N.C.) and freshman
Braden Chapman (Beaver, W.Va.) had 17 points each.Â
Rounding out the double-digit scorers was senior
Andrew Work (Oak Hill, W.Va.) who recorded 12 points and dished five assists.
The Golden Bears will return to action next Saturday, February 10 as WVU Tech celebrates Homecoming 2024. Tech will host Alice Lloyd College at 3 p.m. Admission is free for ALL fans.
