RIO GRANDE, Ohio -- WVU Tech volleyball dropped two matches Friday during the Emileigh Cooper Memorial Classic hosted by University of Rio Grande. The Golden Bears fell to Lindsey Wilson College 0-3 (8-25, 19-25, 20-25) and Defiance College 1-3 (23-25, 25-22, 12-25, 24-26).

NOTES:

• Three hitters hit double-digits over seven sets including 20 from Madison Boswell, 15 for Addison White and 13 from Nevaeh Wooding.
• Anaís González dished out 56 assists at 8.00 per set.
• Peydon Smith and Brooke Presley logged 31 and 24 digs respectively while Ivana Burgos had 17 and González had 14.
• Wooding put down seven blocks while Boswell finished with a total of four.

NEXT UP
The Golden Bears will continue play in the classic tomorrow, Saturday when they face Kentucky Christian University and Cumberland University.
