Golden Bears earn PRs and a school record this weekend

Women's and Men's Track & Field

WVU Tech indoor track & field competed in two meets this weekend, the Finn Pincus Invitational in Salem, Va. and the Otterbein Invitational in Westerville, Ohio.

TOP TIMES:

Abigail Holley posted a new school record in the indoor shot put with a throw of 5.90m.
Evan McElwayne had a PR in the 5k with a 16:56.
Luke Reynolds recorded a new personal-best with a 10.11m showing in the weight throw.
Kevin Smith and Aidan Hart made their collegiate debuts, each competing in the shot put and weight throw.
Sophie Quinlan, Martina Latapi Gomez, Lexie Wikel and Peyton Asbury had their track collegiate debuts.
Adam Bennett ran the mile for the first time in college while Marcos Garcia Aldama made his debut in the 400m and 800m.
Owen Keeney finished tenth in the high jump at 1.83 meters.
