BECKLEY, W.Va. — WVU Tech women's soccer continued its torrid form Saturday, blanking Indiana University Columbus 2–0 in River States Conference play at Paul Cline Stadium.
The Golden Bears improved to 6-2-2 overall and 3-0 in league play, stretching their winning streak to six while recording a third consecutive shutout and fifth overall this season.
Sophomore Martina Latapi Gomez set the tone early, finding the back of the net just 1:54 into the match for her second goal of the year. Senior Nora Martin-Mora Segura doubled the advantage in the 18th minute, converting a penalty kick for her fourth tally of 2025.
Defensively, the Golden Bears stayed airtight behind senior goalkeeper Sandra Garcia Quílez, who stopped two shots—including a penalty-kick save in the 83rd minute—to lock down her fifth clean sheet of the year. WVU Tech outshot the Crimson Pride 22-3 (15-2 on goal) and held an 8-1 edge in corners.

IU Columbus was led by Lily Campbell with two shots on goal. Goalkeeper Zoe Bippus tallied 13 saves to limit further damage against Tech's relentless pressure.
