Outoor track & field begins season at Marty Pushkin Invitational

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- WVU Tech outdoor track & field opened its season at the Marty Pushkin Invitational hosted by West Virginia University Friday-Saturday.

LOCATION
Track & Field Complex at Mylan Park | Morgantown, W.Va.

NOTES:

Four Golden Bears earned PR's -- Samuel Whitcomb (1500m steeple, 5:13.74), Chucky Jordan (400m, 55.52), Evan McElwayne (5000m, 16:12.04) and Sam Miller (discus, 29.04).
Abigail Holley and Peyton Asbury represented the women in the discus throw and shot put and 800m respectively.
Top finishes went to Whitcomb in the steeple at 13th and Alec Howard in the long jump at 13th (5.13m).

NEXT UP
The Golden Bears will travel to West Liberty, W.Va. for the Tim Weaver Invite March 28-29.
