Golden Bear Athletes of the Week | March 17-23, 2025

Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for March 17-23, 2025 were announced Monday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Junior Olivia Barnett (softball) and freshman Cameron Lynch (baseball) highlight the week's honors.

Barnett, who hails from Shady Spring, W.Va., recorded eight RBI off of six hits including a grand slam, a homerun and a double. The junior had a batting average of .500 over four games.

The Fort Ashby, W.Va. native, Lynch, struck out five batters after 6.2 innings from the mound. Lynch gave up just one earned run towards an ERA of 1.35.
