WVU Tech volleyball dropped a road match Friday at Shawnee State, falling in straight sets 10-25, 19-25, 24-26 inside Waller Gymnasium.
Ivana Burgos led the Golden Bears with 8 kills and 11 digs, while Emily Stack and Aniston Treadway each posted 7 kills. Addison White guided the offense with 12 assists, adding a service ace, while Anaís González contributed 11 assists. Peydon Smith anchored the back row with a match-high 17 digs.
Tech rallied in the third set to push Shawnee State into extra points before the Bears closed out the sweep.
Opponent highlights: Shawnee State's Bree Hicks recorded a match-best 10 kills, while Reagan Lewis finished with 20 assists and Megan Steele and Brooke Bossert each tallied 12 digs.
