BECKLEY, W.Va. — WVU Tech men's soccer extended its unbeaten streak with a 3-0 win over Carolina University on Tuesday at Paul Cline Stadium.
Senior forward Keishon Clarke opened the scoring in the 20th minute with his first goal of the season. Freshman forward Julen Recalde doubled the lead in the 69th minute, recording his first career goal off an assist from junior forward Vasco Berardo. Freshman forward Athman Musinde sealed the win in the 82nd minute with his first collegiate goal.
In net, senior Luka Felix stopped two shots across 82 minutes before handing duties to junior Ramon Ferrari, who closed out the clean sheet. Tech's defense limited Carolina to just two shots on goal all match.
Opponent highlights: Goalkeeper Joshua Wilson finished with two saves, while Maximus Blanco and Will McCamley each recorded a shot on frame for the Bruins.
