Junior center Roche Wimberly has been named the Golden Bear Star Performer for March 12-19.

Wimberly pulled down a team-high eight rebounds to go with six points while grabbing a game-high five steals (tied her career-high) in the win over Allen University in the first round of the A.I.I. Tournament.

The Cleveland, Oh. native produced her third double-double of the season with a game-high 14 rebounds, one shy of her career-high, and 10 points. She also tallied two assists and a steal.

The junior ended the 2013-14 season ranked tenth in the Nation (NAIA DI) in blocks per game with 1.880.
