Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for January 24-30, 2022 were announced Monday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Freshman Thomas Hailey (men's basketball) and sophomore Hayden Mathers aka INC. (esports) highlight this week's honors.

Hailey, who hails from Monroe, North Carolina, put away 32 points on 14-for-19 shooting from the floor to go with 11 rebounds. Hailey also produced eight assists and three blocks over two games for the Gold and Blue.
