Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for September 12-18, 2022 were announced Wednesday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Freshman Bryson Beaver (golf) and senior Nathan Morton highlight this week's honors.

Morton, who hails from Christiansburg, led the Gold and Blue during the Bridgewater XC Invitational. The senior finished second among 25 runners with a time of twenty seven minutes, forty two seconds in the 8,000 meter run.
