Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for Sept. 25 - Oct. 1, 2023 were announced Thursday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Freshmen Carson Barr (women's soccer) and Marianna Oyola Rivera (volleyball) highlight the week's honors.

Oyola Rivera (Cuayabo, Puerto Rico) had a standout all around game over three matches last week. The freshman produced 29 kills, 22 digs, five assists and two block solos. The team is enjoying a four-match winning streak.
