Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for November 4-10, 2024 were announced Thursday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Freshman Julia Silva (women's soccer) and sophomore Ramon Ferrari (men's soccer) highlight the week's honors.

Silva, who hails from Canada, had a total of six points over two games, scoring three goals for Tech during the River States Conference (RSC) Championship. Two of her goals came in a quarterfinal win over IU Kokomo.

A native of Nova Venécia, Espírito Santo, Brazil, Ferrari protected the net for the Golden Bears during PK's in a semifinal of the RSC Championship. He made a stop and also scored a penalty kick to help lift Tech to the victory.
