Sophomore Tristan Bean has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for November 11-18, 2015.

Bean won by major decision (13-5) in his weight class' (125) final bout to become the champion when Tech faced Ohio Valley University last Thursday.

The Trenton, Ohio native also took second place in 125 during the Gold and Blue's first competition of the season.

The son of Ronald Bean and Rose Smith studies chemical engineering at WVU Tech.
