Shingles combined for 35 points including nine made from beyond the arc during the NAIA DII National Championship. The Tallahassee, Florida native also posted eight rebounds, four assists and two steals.

He finished the season with two top-ten rankings in the nation (NAIA DII) including No. 7 in total three-pointers made (120) and No. 9 in three-pointers made per game (3.529).
