  • Senior Jaymee Hannan had a standout night for WVU Tech volleyball, but the team fell short to Ohio Christian University in a conference (KIAC) match-up Tuesday evening, 3-0.
  • The action (25-23, 25-20, 25-21) in Montgomery, West Virginia drops Tech to 2-18, 0-7 (KIAC) while the Trailblazers boost their record to 10-16, 5-6 (KIAC).
  • Hannan marked a team-high 15 assists and two aces while recording nine digs.
  • Junior Keyonna Morrow led on offense with 12 kills.
  • Freshman Madeline Gilson was on top for defense with 11 digs.
  • Freshman Ana Monteiro managed 14 assists.

  • First place finish by freshman Mariana Loureiro in the 200 IM with a time of 2:22.57.
  • First place finish in the 200 Breaststroke by freshman Isabela Kiesewetter Zandaval with a time of 1:03.11.
  • First place finish by sophomore Kendra Monnin in the 500 Freestyle with a time of 5:24.60.

  • First place finish by Gauneau in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 52.69.

  • Fell to No. 24 Georgetown College, 2-0 Saturday afternoon.
  • The teams stayed even through the first half with Tech's opponent outshooting them 6-2.
  • Juniors Alex Blumer, Alexandra Klein and senior Brenda Rivera tallied a shot on goal each.
  • Sophomore Martha Reyna (6-2) made five saves in 90 minutes of play for the Gold and Blue.
  • Tech trailed the Tigers overall in shots, 13-6.

  • Earned their eighth shutout in 2015 with a 4-0 victory over NCAA DII foe Salem International (8-6-1) Saturday evening.
  • Tech picked up the win due to the goals of freshman Harry Reilly (7'), sophomore Francisco Neto (PK, 44') and seniors Joaquin Rodriguez (69') and Sam Laughton (85').
  • The assists were credited to Laughton and sophomore Jose Segarra (2x).
  • Junior goalkeeper Hunter Moles (8-0) stopped three balls in the shutout win against the Tigers.
