- Four Golden Bears finished in double figures Tech ended its four-game losing streak with a 93-63 win over Bluefield State University.
- Senior Courtney Fisher had a double-double effort of 18 points and ten rebounds.
- Freshman Savannah Shamblin led on offense with 25 points including going 5-for-9 from the three-point line.
- Senior LaKisha Adkins posted 17 points while marking a career-high 11 assists to go with three steals.
- Freshman Alexandra Combs had ten points to round out Tech's top offensive contributors. Combs had seven rebounds and a game-high five steals.
- Sophomore Julie Conway pulled down eight rebounds to go with eight points.
- Enjoyed a 64.3 percent (9-for-14) shooting performance from the foul line while shooting 43.9 percent (36-for-82) from the field and 44.4 percent (12-for-27) from three-point range.
- Defensively, Tech held the Blues to 28.6 percent (2-for-7) shooting from the three point line while forcing 27 turnovers and grabbing 17 steals.

LAST MEET (MEN'S)- Won both relays and seven of the nine individual events on their way to a 132-69 victory over the Battlers of Alderson Broaddus University.
- The 400 medley relay of freshman Arthur Bertrand, sophomores Manuel Serrano Laguna, Geoffroy Gauneau and Kenneth Edmondson came in first with a time of 1:41.63.
- The 200 freestyle relay had a winning time of 3:22.59 with a team that consisted of sophomores Alexandre Quintão and Bryan McCarthy, senior Gabriel Grauwde and freshman Vinicius Rios.
- Quintão touched first in the 200 freestyle (1:48.78) and second in the 200 butterfly (56.42).
- Laguna won the 50 freestyle in 23.33 and the 200 IM in 2:00.21.
- Bertrand took first place in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 55.57.
- In the 500 freestyle, Gauneau took first with a time of 5:09.72.
- Senior Jack Cavanagh swam to a first place finish in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.44).
LAST MEET (WOMEN'S)- Won 89-67 against Alderson Broaddus University Saturday morning, winning two of their last three duals and moving to 2-3 this season.
- The Golden Bears took first in both relays including the 200 medley relay (1:55.37) and the 400 freestyle relay (3:59.93).
- The winning medley relay consisted of freshman Isabela Kiesewetter Zandavalli, sophomore Kendra Monnin and juniors Francine Meyer and Janay Wright-Parks.
- Seniors Rubhi Garcia-Mercado and Shannon Wiercioch, freshman Mariana Loureiro and Meyer were on the 400 free team.
- Monnin was the winner (2:17.74) in the 200 IM followed by Loureiro who finished second (2:25.50).
- In the 100 free, Meyer captured first (56.21) while Garcia-Mercado came in third (1:01.99).
- Kiesewetter Zandavalli won the 100 backstroke (1:02.58).
- Monnin swam a winning time of 1:12.22 in the 100 breaststroke.

LAST GAME
- Riding a four-game win streak and are 6-3 this season after defeating two ranked teams in the NAIA DII Showcase this weekend in the Meadowview Conference Resort and Convention Center.
- The Golden Bears took game one 61-60 over No. 16 St. Thomas University before grabbing an 83-65 victory versus No. 23 Southeastern University.
- Tech featured a balanced scoring attack that saw four players record double-digits in at least one of the contests including juniors Ra'Shaud Kincaid and Paul Stone who had double-figure efforts in both match-ups.
- Stone combined for 30 points while registering a double-double Saturday against St. Thomas of 11 rebounds and ten points and blocking three Southeastern balls on Sunday.
- Kincaid totaled 27 points and eight rebounds while dishing seven assists and grabbing three steals during the showcase.
- Sophomore Ryan Atkins had a game-high 27 points in Tech's victory over Southeastern while also producing four rebounds, assists and steals.
- Senior Eddie Gordon had 20 points in two games while pulling down nine boards and dishing five assists.
- Juniors Patrick Gnagbo and Matthew Kallead made a difference for Tech under the boards during the weekend, pulling down ten and nine rebounds respectively.
- The Gold and Blue held their opponent to 36.7 percent (22-for-60) shooting in game one before they upset an undefeated Southeastern who was averaging 103 points per game prior to Sunday.
