BECKLEY, West Virginia -- WVU Tech men's basketball competed against NCAA DI opponent West Virginia University in an exhibition game in Beckley, West Virginia Saturday evening in front of a sold out crowd at the King Coal Beckley AutoMall Arena. Junior
Ryan Atkins led the Golden Bears with 17 points as Tech fell to the Mountaineers 131-56.
Atkins finished 7-for-16 from the field while pulling down six rebounds. Freshman
Junior Arrey finished with 13 points for the Gold and Blue.

Enson Garcia posted nine points and grabbed two boards while fellow classmate
Kievonn Banks had six points and five rebounds.
The team finished 20-for-49 from the field and marked 26 rebounds while WVU finished with 49 boards.
Tech will start their regular season Wednesday, November 2 with the home opener against Davis & Elkins in the Baisi Athletic Center at 7 p.m.
