MONTGOMERY, West Virginia — The WVU Tech women's swimming team are 0-2 in duals this season after falling to Fairmont State University 106-104 Saturday afternoon in the WVU Tech Pool.

The top finishes for the Golden Bears included:

• Senior Francine Meyer | 100 Breaststroke | First Place | 1:00.84
• Meyer | 50 Freestyle | First Place | 25.56
• Sophomore Mariana Loureiro | 100 Freestyle | First Place | 56.06
• Sophomore Isabela Kiesewetter Zandavalli | 200 Backstroke | First Place | 2:14.40
• Meyer | 100 Butterfly | First Place | 1:00.77
• Meyer, Mariana Loureiro, Zandavalli and junior Kendra Monnin | 400 Freestyle Relay | First Place | 3:47.30

The squad look to capture their first dual victory next Saturday, November 12 when they travel to compete against Alderson Broaddus University.
