LAST GAME
- Was riding a seven-game winning streak but it was snapped Saturday afternoon after falling to Point Park University, 71-54, in River States Conference (RSC) play.
- Tech had a one-point lead (14-13) entering the second quarter but Point Park managed a 22-4 run and didn't look back.
- The Gold and Blue trailed as much as 23 points in the third quarter and closed the lead to 13 points to begin the final ten minutes.
- Point Park was able to keep the gap at double-digits and took the RSC contest, 71-54.
- Junior Zjhane West earned her first double-double of the season with 14 points and 11 rebounds to go with a team-high five assists.
- Six of West's boards were on the offensive end of the floor.
- Senior Cheyanna Lusk posted a game-high 15 points for the Golden Bears, also marking two steals, an assist and a rebound.
- Freshman Logan Dudley was the next leading scorer for Tech, going 3-for-5 from the floor for six points while pulling down four rebounds.
- Senior Brooke Gee grabbed seven rebounds, four offensive, while sophomore Alexandra Combs had six and freshman Carlie Biehl-Wilson pulled down five.
- Gee, Combs and Biehl-Wilson had four points each.
- As a team, Tech shot 31.5 percent (23-for-73) from the field, 11.8 percent (2-for-17) from three-point range and were perfect (6-for-6) from the bonus line.
- The Pioneers combined for 42.9 percent (27-for-63) shooting from the field, 33.3 percent (9-for-27) from beyond the arc and 80.0 percent (8-for-10) from the foul line.
- WVU Tech held advantages in rebounds (46-40), points off turnovers (6-2), second chance points (14-2) and points in the paint (24-22).
- Point Park bested the Golden Bears in bench points (23-17) and forced miscues (12-11).

- Freshman Junior Arrey led all scorers with 20 points, the Golden Bears had seven hit double figures and WVU Tech men's basketball cruised to a 105-39 victory over Appalachian Bible College
- Arrey came off the bench and finished 3-for-6 from three-point range for the game-high while sophomore Brent Daniels went 6-for-8 from the field for 12 points.
- Juniors Michael Scott, Elisha Boone and Cole Schoolcraft and seniors Patrick Gnagbo and Hunter Moles all posted ten points each.
- Gnagbo earned a double-double in the victory, pulling down a season- and game-high 15 rebounds while also grabbing a career-high five steals.
- Junior Ryan Atkins dished a game-high eight assists to go with six rebounds.
- Junior Enson Garcia recorded a career-high nine rebounds to go with nine points.
- The Golden Bear defense held the Warriors to 23.7 percent (14-for-59) shooting from the field while forcing 23 miscues and posting 15 steals.
- Tech marked 56 rebounds compared to their opponents 27.
